Time and time again we have noticed while preforming our point to point electrical safety checks for clients that their ceiling fan(s) is not preforming as it should, to the point where it’s not even worth switching it on!
This simple trick will ‘blow you away’!!
On the top of the fan there is a little toggle switch marked ‘S – W’.
S – Summer Mode – This spins the blades so the air is pushed downwards giving excellent airflow and a maximum cooling effect.
W – Winter Mode – This spins the blades in the opposite direction pushing the air upwards and rebounding the air back down from the ceiling to keep the rising hot air in the room.
If you have a week ceiling fan in your home or business try this quick fix.
If your fan is extremely old and this doesn’t solve the issue, chances are your old fan is due an upgrade.
