We were happy with Alan's job. Friendly, punctual and patient the whole time. Unfazed by kids running around and he wore shoe covers to protect our floors. Followed our instructions and came up with electrical solutions in our old building. He was careful with our lighting, and was accommodating with fitting into our schedule (even though that meant breaking the job over two days).

Alan is simply awesome. We had a bunch of jobs to do around the house after moving in (loose and unsafe wiring, ceiling fan installation, outdoor socket installation, light fittings etc). Prior to doing any work Alan came around and performed a very thorough quote giving us ideas as to how we could solve some of our issues. It took me a couple of months to get my act together and get Alan back to perform the works which he did with great care. He performed all works himself, took time to do a thorough job and cleaned up afterward. He is also a great guy too which helps. If you are looking for a high quality and honest electrician Alan is your guy. Highly recommended.

I recently had a great experience with Westcork Electrical. What started as a few light replacement uncovered a lot of shot wiring, which they rewired and made safe along with upgrading our switchboard. Neat and tidy. Will definitely use again.

Westcork provided numerous services to our house including new fans, powerpoints and updating smoke alarms. We were living overseas at the time but their communication was outstanding, always emailing promptly with detailed notes on the job including photos. They were so friendly and helpful, providing great advice and suggestions. I won't go to anyone else for electrical work in the future. Once you've found someone this good, you don't need to look anywhere else.

Westcork Electrical are highly trustworthy. Alan was always very punctual, courteous and professional. I had a lot of different jobs that had to be done with major house renovations and I was very glad I chose Westcork Electrical. With electricity you need to choose the best. I was always confident each time a job needed to be done that Alan would complete it on time and with the utmost attention to detail and safety. As a mother with young kids this was paramount. Alan is an outstanding professional, from the minute you meet him and this continues til well after the job is done. It's the small touches - like making sure he wears outer shoes over his work shoes as to not damage our brand new floating floors, to his brutal honesty which helped us make the right decisions and meant we weren't taken for an absolute ride. He was genuine and down to earth, communication was a dream, and for the service we received the money was well spent. Highly recommend WestCork for all electrical solutions - he literally rewired our entire apartment and made it up to code - something other quotes neglected to inform us of. Photos of our amazing renovation included - from the completely non-functional kitchen, to the hidden wires in the render (WTF 1970s?!) to our stellar NY Loft kitchen. We wish we could give you more then 5 stars!

Allan was fantastic. On time, easy to deal with, friendly and clearly knew his stuff. He fixed two things at our house that other electricians had separately said were unfixable. Plus he was really reasonably priced and he cleaned up after himself (folded things and wiped benches - unheard of!). Couldn’t recommend him more highly.SECOND JOB with ALANWe just did an extension and renovation on our house in St Ives and Alan did all the electrical work. He was tireless in getting things done on time and always checked things worked properly. He came when he said he would and he didn't leave until the job was done (meant some really long days). Our list of things to do just didn't seem to end and Alan was always happy to help. Our builder really enjoyed working with him too. There were no dramas, just excellent work.

Allan did an excellent job installing a new DC Mercator fan which is perfect for the summer months. The fan is quiet and uses less electricity than AC fans. The price for the fan and installation was excellent. I highly recommend Allan’s electrical expertise.

Had all my down lights upgraded to LED (24 of them)!! Heat lamps and front and back lights. What a difference it made to the entire place. Value for money and quality work. Can't ask for much more. We found Westcork via google and we were impressed by the good reviews. We asked for a quote fir an upgrade to lights in our townhouse. Alan was punctual and very informative during the quoting process and gave us some great suggestion. The quote was competitive and we agreed to proceed. I had a malfunctioning electrical circuit and an ancient metre with fuses in blackened plugs. Alan recommended replacement with a modern metre box and gave me a good price. He came exactly when he said he would, even reminding me by text in previous days. He completed the work promptly and checked circuits in the house and garage, tripping them to see if the automated switch-off worked. I asked him for advice on another matter - and he took a light apart for me and advised what I needed to do and did not charge extra for this service. Since then he has given me advice by email on other maintenance services and equipment I need.I found him to be courteous, rigorous and very helpful. I certainly recommend him to others.Billie

We had some irritating tripping and fuses constantly blowing in our 70's home. I had Alan come around to assess it and advise me. Westcork electrical came around and totally upgraded the fuse box with safety switches. No more annoying tripping or need for fuse wire :)
