Additional bed side power point installation at Homebush

So when she moved from Croydon into a penthouse apartment in Holmbush in Sydney's inner west, I was happy to now help her.

Stunning place. Unreal views. But the bedroom setup? Useless.

There was one Power Point in the whole room — jammed in beside the balcony door. Nothing near the bed. So she had extension leads running across the floor just to charge her phone. Not exactly ideal when you're trying to relax.

She asked if we could add Power Points either side of the bed.

The challenge? The only feed was that existing point on the opposite side of the room.

We didn’t want to damage walls or leave mess, so we went in clean. Removed the skirting boards, notched a small channel behind, and carefully cut into a few floorboards to sneak the cable across.

No surface conduit. Everything went back together flush — no sign we were ever there.

End result: two clean, new PowerPoints where they should’ve been from the start.
