Fronius Wattpilot EV Charger Installation - Drummoyne

Sameer's place already had three-phase power and a solar system, so a charger that can use both properly was the right call. The Wattpilot switches between one and three phases on its own, so it can soak up the solar surplus during the day and top up from the grid when it needs to.

This one was a full three-phase install. That means a heavier cable back to the board and a four-pole safety switch on a circuit of its own.

The switchboard already had three-phase supply and surge protection fitted, so rather than replace it we added a dedicated circuit just for the charger and left the existing setup alone.

The Wattpilot went neatly onto the wall outside, close to the board and out of the weather, with an isolation switch next to it so it can be shut down safely. Everything was tested and commissioned on the day.

Sameer can now charge on solar, on a schedule, or straight from the grid, and keep an eye on it all from the app.
