Ceiling fans installed - Maroubra

This ceiling fan install job was in a victorian style home in Maroubra single storey, older build, solid bones. The client wanted to upgrade the bedrooms with three DC ceiling fans, each with dimmable LED lights.

Because it was a single-level place, we were able to get into the roof space and run the wiring from above, always makes life a bit easier. But the tricky part was fitting three isolation switches to meet the fan warranty requirements. We had to feed the cables down through existing conduit that was already pretty tight, just enough space to make it work.

At the switchboard, we found two circuits that looked protected but weren’t , so we swapped those out for proper RCDs to make sure the job met current safety standards.

All up, clean install, done properly. If you’re in an older home and thinking about upgrading to modern ceiling fans, we can make it work without trashing the place.
