Electrical Upgrades

Marcus had a few electrical items in need of an update in Marrickville.

The kitchen wasn't long updated, however, the LED strip had failed and broken down, it wasn't installed correctly from day one - no cover on the minimum excursion, letting steam and other elements attach the light.

This is always a treasure hunt to find where the last electrician has placed the driver so we can exchange that also, with common sense and luck, it was hidden in the LED downlight above the kitchen, we swapped that over and installed the new strip. The counter was lit back to life!

Next up were two heritage pendant lights we replaced, we had to slightly modify the length to get them to suit, once the LED globes were installed on power up the light spread was excellent from a 9-watt globe!

Lastly was the outside coach light, apparently, it was not working for years, the sun can take its toll on these, and that it did. The sensor was brittle and falling apart. The new light had a stand-alone sensor which we installed below to light that steps and outside back to its former glory!

Marcus was really happy how it all turned out, with the 14W bright lighting installed the house is now well lit and most importantly its energy efficient.
