The excitement was real. Angus' Tesla Y was being picked up at the weekend. We installed his EV charger to make sure he could stay juiced up. The particular EV charger he chose was a Gen 3 wall connector.

The installation for this job was straightforward. The location of the Tesla EV charger was right next to the switchboard.

Running cables through the cavity ensured a neat seamless install with no external conduit. We installed an isolator and a Type A safety switch for the charger to comply with wiring rules, and the EV charger itself was excellent to mark out and neatly mount.

There is quite a long charge lead, which ended up reaching the end of the driveway if needs be. This will come in handy if more than one car is parked in the driveway.
