Gas-to-Induction cooktop conversion in Sydney's Inner West

With the dangers of gas in people's homes becoming evident, we did another gas-to-induction cooktop conversion in Sydney's inner west.

This installation was in a Camperdown apartment. The switchboard was located by the entrance, approximately 8 meters from where we needed the cable for the installation.

To get the cable around the apartment we needed to strategically fish the cable through the LED downlights. Once this was achieved we carefully pulled out the fridge and were able to fish the cable down the back, through the rear of the cabinets, into an isolation switch and finally connect to the induction cooktop.

At the other end by the switchboard, we again were able to fish the cable down the wall and connect to a new dedicated safety switch (RCD) at the switchboard.
