Another new apartment with no ceiling fans, this time in Erskineville, see how we cooled the rooms down.

We see so much of this, brand new apartments and no ceiling fans in the rooms, to make things worse, the only form of cooling is an air conditioner unit in the living room.

How do we install the ceiling fan, on a finished ceiling?

We start by checking we can get a live feed in the ceiling, depending on how the units were wired this can make or break the job. We can cut a hole in the best location, generally the centre of the downlights, some prefer closer over the bed. We then anchor support into the ceiling (You don't want a fan falling on your head right?), mount the fan, then permitting on the manufacturer's requirements install an isolation switch for programing and warranty purposes.
